Quality you can check — not just a promise
We don't ask you to trust a logo. We review your drawing, check parts before they ship and give you the reports you ask for.
Our inspection process
Six checkpoints between your drawing and your dock
01
Drawing review
Before quoting, we check for missing tolerances, unclear threads, material or finish — and ask you, rather than guess.
02
Factory capability check
We only send a part to partner shops whose machines, materials and experience fit it. We visit and review partner factories before working with them.
03
First sample / first article
For new parts, a first sample or first article is measured and approved (by you, if you wish) before the batch runs.
04
In-process follow-up
We stay in contact with the factory during production and raise issues early — with you informed, not surprised.
05
Pre-shipment inspection
Parts are checked against your drawing and agreed sampling plan before dispatch, with photos of parts and packing.
06
Packing check
Export-suitable packing to protect surfaces and edges — foam, bags, cartons or crates depending on the part.
Reports
Reports you can request
Tell us in your RFQ which documents you need. We include them in the quote so there are no surprises later.
| Report | What it shows | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensional inspection report | Measured values of key / critical dimensions against drawing tolerances, for a sample of parts. | Standard on request |
| First article inspection (FAI) | Full measurement of a first part against all drawing dimensions before the batch. | New parts, tight tolerances |
| Material certificate | Mill / supplier certificate for the raw material (e.g. EN 10204 type 3.1, where the material supplier provides it). | When traceability matters |
| Finish / coating report | Coating or anodize thickness readings, colour check against your reference. | Coated or anodized parts |
| Photos & video | Photos or short video of finished parts, measurements and packing before shipping. | Every order |
| Third-party inspection | Independent inspection by an agency you choose (e.g. SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, QIMA), arranged by us — fee charged at cost. | Larger or critical orders |
A note on certifications
Delta Precision Parts is a sourcing service and does not hold its own ISO certification. If your project requires a certified supplier (for example ISO 9001 or IATF 16949), tell us in your RFQ. We will only propose partner factories that can show a valid certificate — or tell you honestly that we can't support the project.
